Enrolling my daughter
I would just like to share my/our experience today. Today was a tiring day for us.We enrolled our youngest daughter to a university. We left the house at 7:30 am and took 3 rides. We left early because we thought since it's the 1st day of enrollment there'll be less students- but we were wrong, so wrong... there were tons of people. We went to the 4th floor to get the guidelines in enrolling- 9 steps. Then we went to the ground floor then to the basement; then climb up five floors/stairs. Then back down to the 2nd floor- imagine, there were no elevators/lift and it's summer, we were sweating like a pig and we were catching our breath...We got back to the basement again to find a very long line, we stayed in it for more than an hour...We finished partially at 4:00 pm.
The problem is, they don't have enough staff and proper instructions that leave us newbies confused, lost and tired. I thought the new generation are well-prepared and quick since they have gadgets now...Well, it was a great experience and exercise- and we'll be back again tomorrow to finish everything..to be continued... :D
Enrolling my daughter: the sequel
We went to the main campus today- to continue her enrollment. We went there early to be the first in the long queue of enrollees; but unfortunately there were many people who were much earlier than us. But everything went well and we paid the fees with no hassle. And then we applied for my daughter's ID and got a number- 104 and the current number was 30. We waited for more than an hour before my daughter was called in- I thought it would just be a few minutes but it lasted for 30 minutes. Because to take the picture, one should wear a collared shirt- so those who didn't, still had to change. Those who wore the required attire got to take a picture first and after the wait my daughter got her ID- at last. My daughter still has to have a check-up [medical and dental] but at the present, there's no schedule yet. So we just went to the mall before going home [to relax and take a break from the tiring enrollment]..we got home earlier than yesterday. :D
