No Megan Fox for Transformers 3 [May 26]

Megan Fox is not included in the third installment of the Transformers. I will sure miss her, but I hope they find someone worthy to play her role. It’s a good thing they didn’t replace the main character though- not like in the Spiderman 4..I still can’t believe Toby Maguire and Sam Raimi are leaving… :[ For me, if a movie decides to do a sequel they should definitely keep the old cast, or don’t do a sequel at all…

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (May 14, 2010)
Jabbar says that NBA should raise its minimum age for entry into the league from 19 to 21 years old, he says that young players arrive unprepared for both on-and-off challenges. He also said that Lebron James would have had  'very polished skills'  if he went to college, he would have learned much more through  experiences that would help him as a player- but he was already a total  gem without a single minute in the college  court, in which he is an exemption. Not having been to college but have already his innate gifts ready for the NBA. Jabbar comes from an era when men were men, no fancy tattoes, wearing of ski goggles (no Oakley yet in their time) for eye protection. However, if staying out
of  the NBA until age 21 means more awesome leather jackets, then lets get to work on whatever paper works is necessary to make that change.

Bob Arum speaks out (May 14, 2010)
Bob Arum just confirmed that Pacquiao will definitely fight this coming November- though he's not certain  who Manny's opponent will be. Manny's promoter says that he wants to make happen what Filipino fans want to see; to determine once and for all who the better fighter is- between Pacman and Mayweather. But if it does not push through, he might use  Antonio Margarito- one of his fighters, to face Pacman. At the moment, he is more focused on Pacman/Mayweather; since it is what the fans have been longing to see. So boxing fans, all we have to do is to patiently wait for this to happen... :D

Mayweather vs Mosley (May 2, 2010)

Mayweather remains undefeated for 41 fights already. Many boxing fans watched the fight between him and Mosley-it was not so exciting though; but they were stunned during the second round because Mosley almost knocked down Mayweather. But through the remaining rounds, Mayweather prevailed. It was his new style of fighting that made him win. He was more aggressive now, not always defensive. And maybe because he was 6 yrs. younger than Mosley. Mayweather's triumph over Mosley made boxing fans long to see him fight with the champ Manny Pacquiao. To see once and for all who really is the best fighter...

Soszynski comes out throwing leather and clips Vera with a right hand. "The Truth" shakes it off and fires a body kick to the liver that backs up Soszynski. Vera kicks the leg and sneaks in a knee to the body. Soszynski's aggression has stopped since absorbing the sharp blows to the body. Soszynski ties up with Vera and pushes him to the fence. Vera gets his back off the cage and lands a right hook to the body. Vera switches from an orthodox stance to southpaw. He reverts back and unloads a head kick that is blocked. Soszynski goes to the clinch early in the second stanza. Vera works to gain a Thai plum, but Soszynski backs away before a knee is aimed at the chin. Soszynski throws a left-hand lead and Vera connects with a jab while showing good head movement. Soszynski rushes forward and there is a clash of heads that knocks Vera's mouthguard to the floor. Referee Herb Dean steps in to replace the safety device and the fight is back on. Soszynski runs forward and Vera works a standing guillotine. He lets it go and gets an uppercut in to the chin of the Canadian. Soszynski drops levels for a double and drags Vera to the floor. Vera quickly gets to his feet and the clinchfest resumes.

UFC Challenge
Our very own Brandon "The Truth" Vera vs Polish Krzysztof Soszynski. Brandon has an impressive record of 11-5 in mixed martial arts and won 2 of his last MMA fights. In his last fight he has shown that he was in great shape by defeating Mike Platt by TKO. Soszynski has an 18-18-1 MMA record in which 6 of them he won consecutively; including 2 submissions of the night awards. So, certainly Vera will have his hands full on trying to stop the 'Polish Experiment' Soszynski. In any case I'm still with Vera, I hope he does well in UFC 102- which would be held in Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon, USA on August 29, 2009...
